Cogito Instruments SA marks a new step forward

Altitude Fiduciary Advisors SA is thrilled to announce that the time is now right for Cogito Instruments SA to move their management and staff to a new location, leaving the workplace that AFA has made available since the creation of the company in 2016.

AFA, in its role as project incubator and as a member of the Board of Directors of CI, supports this timely move to exploit fully the increasing interest in machine learning ‘’at the edge’’ shown by the market.

The registered office address shall not be changed and,  even after the move, AFA shall continue to provide the key services relating to CI’s administration, accountancy and governance.

As required by its ambitious roadmap, this way the company shall profit by a technically-oriented environment of enterprises that facilitates ‘’vertical’’ synergies and also the development of new products based on both its GEN1 and GEN2. The former is targeting ‘’Industry 4.0’’, while the latter is working on the new and enhanced proprietary technology based on a registered patent.

The new workplace is located in a building conveniently part of an area that is flourishing as the new technology centre of the Geneva Canton. (Chemin du Champ-des-filles 36, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates)

Since the incorporation of the startup, CI and AFA have been working together; AFA has been the earliest investor and one of the founders alongside Philippe Lambinet and Eric Jumelet.

The active role of AFA as the project incubator has covered many aspects, like activating key technical and industrial relationships, and introducing investors.

The above includes what led to the technology’s initial technical platform, and the first client working on the implementation of the technology. It also includes the introduction of investors during the seed phase, and in the later stages up to the on-going A-Round activity.

AFA would like to thank you for your interest and continued support, and remains at your disposal for any enquiry you may have on the current and future steps of CI.
